Patient Profile:
Name: Simon C
Sex: Male
Age: 30
Profession: Steel Welder
Lifestyle: Highly physically demanding profession, weekend rugby.
Symptoms: Constant back pain that would radiate through the shoulders, lower back pain that would often radiate down the back of the legs.
Core-PT Treatment: Simon’s back problems stemmed from his heavy lifting at work and an accumulation of rugby injuries picked-up over the years. He had poor range of movement bad posture and very tight muscles throughout his back, backside and thighs. Upon further examination Core found multiple trigger points, the cause of much of Simon’s discomfort. The client was given massage therapy and rehab exercises to correct his muscle tension, improve flexibility and posture. Simon had four initial treatments combined with rehab exercises, this proved to alleviate the symptoms over the next twelve months. Simon has had further treatment due to the nature of his job and constant stresses that heavy lifting has on his body but these are becoming fewer and farer between with every session.
Client feedback: “I was diagnosed with excess muscle tension compounded by aggravation of back injuries from rugby and weightlifting. After months of hospital visits to an osteopath whose treatments offered relief for only short periods of time I was put in touch with Hugo by a mutual friend. I have found his approach most beneficial and also his advice on keeping supple has helped keep me off the treatment table.”
